In 2016, the US ambassador to Nigeria James Entwistle in a letter to the then Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogora, accused Nigerian honourables on official trip to the US of attempted rape and solicitation of prostitutes. The honourables were Mohammed Garba Gololo (Bauchi APC), Samuel Ikon (Akwa Ibom PDP) and Mark Gbillah (Benue APC). What the ambassador called attempted rape and saw as demeaning is what they call sexual molestation in the self acclaimed saner clime. But in order to gun down Nigeria and Nigerians, he prefer ‘attempted rape’.
What really happend was that Mohammad Garba Gololo allegedly grabbed a housekeeper in his hotel room and solicited sex from her. Mark Terseer Gbillar and Samuel Ikon allegedly requested hotel parking attendants assist them to solicit prostitutes.
How does these requests jeopardize our diplomatic relations with them? Do you know the number of Americans oil marketers that have turned many teens in the Niger Delta to single mothers? Or do we talk about how their official visitors also solicit prostitutes here?
Let me give you some sexual scandals of US former presidents:

1. Bill Clinton, the 42nd president of the United States of America was given oral sex by a woman in the back of a limousine in the parking lot and of his daughter’s school, while he was waiting to pick his daughter, Chelsea. Bill would never let any opportunity to have sex to slip him off. He slept with wives of a prominent judge, a local newspaper reporter, a former state employee, a sales clerk, a black prostitute named Bobbie Ann Williams who claimed Clinton fathered her mixed-raced child in one their 13 sex sessions. There are other sexual scandals of Clinton.

2. Lyndon Johnson, the 36the leaser of the US said he celebrated signing the equal right legislation into law by having sex with a black girl in the oval office. He also maintained a second family in Texas and had regular sex sessions with a female reporter from the Washington Star in the oval office.
3. President Franklin Roosevelt seduced his wife’s social secretary during the world war 1. When his wife knew, she promised to continue with him if he gave up on the mistress. But that was a lie, Roosevelt continued to see her till he died.
4. E. Jean Carroll was at least the 16th woman to have accused Donald Trumpof sexual misconduct before he became President. Karen Johnson also accused Trump of touching her in an unwanted manner at a New Year Eve’s party in the early 2000s
   “When he says that thing, ‘Grab them by the pussy,’ that hits me hard because when he grabbed me and pulled me into the tapestry, that’s where he grabbed me — he grabbed me there in my front and pulled me in,” Ms Johnson said.

These are other acts that are demeaning have been done by world leaders while holding official positions even at official places. Those that defile their democracy dont have that moral justice to let us what to do. To be continued.
